Together with singer Anna LaCasio, Peter Kingsberry formed the central duo of the band Cock Robin, which was founded in San Francisco in the early 80s. Strangely enough, their debut album in 1985 was much better received in Europe than in America. "The Promise You Made" and "Thought You Were On My Side", for example, became huge top 10 hits in the Benelux. Their second and third albums also produced hits such as "Just Around The Corner", "Worlds Apart" and "The Biggest Fool Of All". Especially the harmonies between Anna and Peter became the trademark of Cock Robin, but unfortunately that did not prevent the band from disbanding in 1990, to get back together after 16 years in 2016. Unfortunately, that did not yield the commercial success of the eighties, but it did provide beautiful songs, again written by Peter Kingsberry, such as "Bodies On A Bed Sheet" and "Portrait". All these songs and many more are on this beautiful overview on 180 gram vinyl.
