With his namesake, he shares the distinction of having been the leader of a great French band: Warning. This Aubert, Christophe, made sense in the 80s. Three albums with Warning, one with Plaisir Chromé, accompaniments for legendary singers Johnny Hallyday and Eddy Mitchell), and his only solo album with the evocative title "Rêve d'un Rêve". Christophe is a multi-instrumentalist (bass, drums, guitars, vocals and keyboards), with lyrics by his brother Jérôme and guest vocals by Gérald Manceau, drummer with Warning. The skills of this prodigious musician shine through on every track. Initially released in 1993, the album quickly found it's loyal following but was hampered by non-existent promotion. "A nightmare of a nightmare", since Jérôme met his death on the road on August 16, 1994. 30 years later, it was time to pay tribute to this wonderful record, enriched for the occasion with 3 bonus tracks, exclusive photos and one of his last interviews.
