In celebration of Gundam's 45th anniversary, the original soundtrack for the 2021 film Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway is now available for general release. This film is the first installment of a trilogy adapting Yoshiyuki Tomino's novel Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash, originally published in three volumes between 1989 and 1990. Set in Universal Century 0105 (U.C. 105), twelve years after the final battle between Amuro Ray and Char Aznable in Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack, the story follows Hathaway Noa, who once witnessed their legendary clash. Now, he rises against the corrupt Earth Federation government. The soundtrack is composed by Hiroyuki Sawano, following his work on Gundam UC and Gundam NT, delivering a soundscape that evokes the vastness of space and the future of Gundam's Universal Century. This luxurious 2-CD set includes all 19 tracks from the film, featuring the theme song Senko by [ALEXANDROS].
