A heroic tale of heroes who inherited the power of the great spirit.A new masterpiece that will be engraved in the history of power metal has arrived... The long-awaited 4th album!!In the spring of 2010, Akihiro (G), Kouta (B) and Takazumi (Key), who had been working together in another band, formed the band with the aim of becoming a catchy and authentic melodic power metal band that places importance on melody. Soon after, Minaki (Vo), Hayate (G) and Yamato (Ds) joined the band, and the band began performing as a six-person lineup with high-pitched vocals and twin lead guitars. The word 'Shiver' in the band name Shiver of Frontier means 'shiver, ' but it also has the hidden meaning of 'melody.'In the fall of 2011, they produced their first demo, 'Hope of Eternity, ' which was released only at live venues. Shortly after, Takazumi and Yamato left the band for personal reasons (after which they did not welcome back a new keyboardist, and the drummer worked as a support member), but in 2012 they began working on a new album, and in the spring of 2013 they released their second demo, 'Hope of Eternity/Lost Tears, ' which added more symphonic arrangements to the songs. They then began recording their first album from 2014 to 2015, and signed with Black-listed Records in 2016. Their first album, 'Memory of Destiny, ' was released in May of the same year, and was a more symphonic and dramatically evolved work, while still maintaining the melody-oriented musicality they had always maintained. In 2017, they began working on a mini-album that would serve as a precursor to their second album, and released the mini-album 'Crystal in My Heart' in November of the same year, which continued the direction of their previous work but was even more diverse with all members involved in the composition. In 2018, they began recording a new album, and released their second album, 'Can You See The World?', which had a deeper melodic power metal sound, in August 2019. After that, they performed live with new member Tae (Ds), but in 2020, Hayate left the band for personal reasons. In 2022, Ryo (G) and Nobuaki (Key) joined the band. They released their third album, 'Faint Hope to the Reality', in May of the same year.In 2023, Tae left the band, but YOH (Ds) joined shortly after and began working on a new album. In May 2024, they released their second mini album, 'Spirits Rising, ' which tells the story of Great Spirits SAGA, a fantasy world in which the protagonist with the power of spirits confronts the demon king.Work on their next album will begin shortly, with their fourth full-length album, 'Power of Great Spirits', set to be released on March 28, 2025 through Black-listed Records. This work is the main chapter of the Great Spirits SAGA depicted in the previous work, and is a grand melodic power metal that makes full use of the band's characteristic symphonic musicality, centered on a story that fully emphasizes the worldview of a fantasy world. Some of the songs included in the previous work have been remade as album versions, and the mix/mastering has been done by Yoichiro Ishino of Crunch Studio.
