Although he is best known for his disco hits from the late 1970s through the early 1990s, music industry veteran Tony Valor recorded some fine doo-wop inspired singles in the early 1960s. A case in point is his 1963 single "There's A Story In My Heart" b/w "So Tenderly," which features an upbeat doo-wop groove on the A side, and a heartfelt ballad on the flip. Both tracks feature some nice back-up vocals provided by The Impalas.
